2020-06-29ARM: dts: omap3: Migrate AES from hwmods to sysc-omap2Adam Ford
Various OMAP3 boards have two AES blocks, but only one is currently available, because the hwmods are only configured for one. This patch migrates the hwmods for the AES engine to sysc-omap2 which allows the second AES crypto engine to become available. omap-aes 480a6000.aes1: OMAP AES hw accel rev: 2.6 omap-aes 480a6000.aes1: will run requests pump with realtime priority omap-aes 480c5000.aes2: OMAP AES hw accel rev: 2.6 omap-aes 480c5000.aes2: will run requests pump with realtime priority Signed-off-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> [tony@atomide.com: updated to disable both aes_targets on hs boards] Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2020-05-19ARM: dts: Configure system timers for omap3Tony Lindgren
We can now init system timers using the dmtimer and 32k counter based on only devicetree data and drivers/clocksource timers. Let's configure the clocksource and clockevent, and drop the old unused platform data. As we're just dropping platform data, and the early platform data init is based on the custom ti,hwmods property, we want to drop both the platform data and ti,hwmods property in a single patch. Since the dmtimer can use both 32k clock and system clock as the source, let's also configure the SoC specific default values. The board specific dts files can reconfigure these with assigned-clocks and assigned-clock-parents as needed. Let's also update the dts file to use #include while at it. 2019-10-30ARM: dts: Configure omap3 rngTony Lindgren
Looks like omap3 RNG is similar to the omap2 rng, let's get it working by configring the dts node for it. We must also add rng_ick to core_l4_clkdm as noted by Adam Ford. And please note that the RNG is likely disabled on HS devices. At least n900 does not have it accessible, and instead omap3-rom-rng driver must be used. So let's tag RNG as disabled on n900 as noted by Pali Rohár <pali.rohar@gmail.com>. On am3517 at least the clocks need to be configured to get it working as noted by Adam Ford, so let's tag it disabled for now. 2019-10-10ARM: dts: Add OPP-V2 table for AM3517Adam Ford
The AM3517 only lists 600MHz @ 1.2V, but the register values for 0x4830A204 = 1b86 802f, it seems like am3517 might be a derivative of the omap36 which OPPs would be OPP50 (300 MHz) and OPP100 (600 MHz). This patch sets up the OPP50 and OPP100 tables at 300MHz and 600MHz for the AM3517 with each having an operating voltage at 1.2V. Apologies for not being able to send this earlier but it took me few revisions to get the smartreflex changes right and tested with yet to be posted patches to make smartreflex probe with dts and I wanted to have it sit in next for a while to make sure we're not introducing regressions for legacy platform data based booting. Note that this is based on a merge with commit 20a2742e5784 ("dt-bindings: ti-sysc: Update binding for timers and capabilities") to avoid a merge conflict with the binding changes. * tag 'omap-for-v4.16/dt-clk-dts-signed' of ssh://gitolite.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap: ARM: dts: Update ti-sysc data for existing users ARM: dts: Fix smartreflex compatible for omap3 shared mpu-iva instance dt-bindings: ti-sysc: Update binding for timers and capabilities
2018-01-12ARM: dts: Update ti-sysc data for existing usersTony Lindgren
Let's update the existing users with features and clock data as specified in the binding. This is currently the smartreflex for most part, and also few omap4 modules with no child device driver like mcasp, abe iss and gfx. Note that we had few mistakes that did not get noticed as we're still probing the SmartReflex driver with legacy platform data and using "ti,hwmods" legacy property for ti-sysc driver. So let's fix the omap4 and dra7 smartreflex registers as there is no no revision register. And on omap4, the mcasp module has a revision register according to the TRM. And for omap34xx we need a different configuration compared to 36xx. And the smartreflex on 3517 we've always kept disabled so let's remove any references to it. First region is the same for all omap3 SoC and is described in omap3.dtsi. The second region is the same as in omap34xx (see omap34xx.dtsi) and omap35xx.
