This will cause value returned by topology_physical_package_id() to be more than topology_max_packages(). Here the allocation uses topology_max_packages(). The call to topology_max_packages() returns maximum logical package ID not physical ID. Hence use topology_logical_package_id() instead of topology_physical_package_id(). The modern bus-based interface instead maps each -WMI device to a :c:type:`struct wmi_device `, so it supports -WMI devices sharing GUIDs and/or notification IDs. Drivers can then register -a :c:type:`struct wmi_driver `, which will be bound to compatible -WMI devices by the driver core. +it has some issues with multiple WMI devices sharing the same GUID. +The modern bus-based interface instead maps each WMI device to a +:c:type:`struct wmi_device `, so it supports WMI devices sharing the +same GUID. When platform_device_register() fails, store the pdevs[x] PTR_ERR() value into the local ret variable before calling x86_android_tablet_remove() to avoid using pdevs[] after it has been freed.
