2022-04-05ASoC: samsung: Constify snd_soc_dapm_{route,widget} structsRikard Falkeborn
These structs only have their address assigned to the dapm_{routes,widget} fields in the snd_soc_card struct, both which are pointers to const data. Make them const to allow the compiler to put them in read-only memory. 2019-12-16ASoC: samsung: bells: use snd_soc_dai_link_component for codec_confKuninori Morimoto
We can use snd_soc_dai_link_component to specify codec_conf. Let's use it. 2019-12-10ASoC: soc-core: find rtd via dai_link pointer at snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime()Kuninori Morimoto
Current snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime() is finding rtd by checking dai_link name. But, it is strange and waste of CPU power, because its user want to get from rtd from dai_link, not from dai_link name. This patch find rtd via dai_link pointer instead of its name. 2019-06-06ASoC: samsung: bells: use modern dai_link styleKuninori Morimoto
ASoC is now supporting modern style dai_link (= snd_soc_dai_link_component) for CPU/Codec/Platform. This patch switches to use it. Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

2017-12-05ASoC: don't use rtd->codec on samsung/bellsKuninori Morimoto
rtd->codec will be removed soon. rtd->codec = rtd->codec_dai->codec, thus, we can use rtd->codec_dai->component instead of it. Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

2015-11-18ASoC: Vendor drivers get a link's runtime by snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime()Mengdong Lin
Vendor drivers no longer access a DAI link's runtime by the link index but by matching the link name via snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime(). We assume each DAI link has a unique name. This is preparation for changing runtimes from an array to a list later. 2012-12-07ASoC: Samsung: Do not register samsung audio dma device as pdevPadmavathi Venna
Previously, the ASoC 'platform' (PCM/DMA) object was instantiated via a platform_device. This didn't represent the hardware well, since there was no separate hardware associated with this platform_device; it was a virtual device with sole purpose to call snd_soc_register_platform(). This change removes the platform_device completely. Each Samsung DAI now registers the ASoC 'platform' itself. Machine drivers are adjusted for the new 'platform' name.
