2016-12-24Replace <asm/uaccess.h> with <linux/uaccess.h> globallyLinus Torvalds
This was entirely automated, using the script by Al: PATT='^[[:blank:]]*#[[:blank:]]*include[[:blank:]]*<asm/uaccess.h>' sed -i -e "s!$PATT!#include <linux/uaccess.h>!" \ $(git grep -l "$PATT"|grep -v ^include/linux/uaccess.h) to do the replacement at the end of the merge window. 2015-07-10stifb: Implement hardware accelerated copyareaAlex Ivanov
This patch adds hardware assisted scrolling. The code is based upon the following investigation: https://parisc.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/NGLE#Blitter A simple 'time ls -la /usr/bin' test shows 1.6x speed increase over soft copy and 2.3x increase over FBINFO_READS_FAST (prefer soft copy over screen redraw) on Artist framebuffer. 2014-04-17video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
