2011-11-16ARM i.MX: Update defconfigSascha Hauer
This updates the defconfig for i.MX3, i.MX5 and i.MX6. - all these can be compiled together now, so remove mx3_defconfig and mx5_defconfig and introduce a imx_v6_v7_defconfig instead. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2011-10-09arm: mx3: update defconfigWolfram Sang

2011-01-20kconfig: rename CONFIG_EMBEDDED to CONFIG_EXPERTDavid Rientjes
The meaning of CONFIG_EMBEDDED has long since been obsoleted; the option is used to configure any non-standard kernel with a much larger scope than only small devices. This patch renames the option to CONFIG_EXPERT in init/Kconfig and fixes references to the option throughout the kernel. A new CONFIG_EMBEDDED option is added that automatically selects CONFIG_EXPERT when enabled and can be used in the future to isolate options that should only be considered for embedded systems (RISC architectures, SLOB, etc). Calling the option "EXPERT" more accurately represents its intention: only expert users who understand the impact of the configuration changes they are making should enable it. 2010-11-17ARM: mx3: enable SPI_IMX for better compile coverageUwe Kleine-König
SPI_IMX defaults to m for i.MX machines. So enabling SPI is enough. Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de>
2010-09-27ARM: mx3_defconfig: add new machine MACH_EUKREA_CPUIMX35Uwe Kleine-König
Furthermore INOTIFY is gone since 2dfc1ca (inotify: remove inotify in kernel interface) Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de>

2009-12-18ARM: Kill CONFIG_CPU_32Russell King
26-bit ARM support was removed a long time ago, and this symbol has been defined to be 'y' ever since. As it's never disabled anymore, we can kill it without any side effects. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2009-05-05i.MX31: Disable CPU_32v6K in mx3_defconfig.Magnus Lilja
The i.MX31 ARM11 core is not a v6K core. Disable this option as it is incompatible with non v6K cores. Signed-off-by: Magnus Lilja <lilja.magnus@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2009-04-16mxc defconfig updatesSascha Hauer
This patch removes several i.MX board specific defconfig files in favour for a mx1_defconfig, mx27_defconfig and mx3_defconfig. All config files have all currently available boards, i.MX specific drivers and the network device drivers for the boards enabled. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
