2019-06-14 | docs: convert docs to ReST and rename to *.rst | Mauro Carvalho Chehab
The conversion is actually: - add blank lines and indentation in order to identify paragraphs; - fix tables markups; - add some lists markups; - mark literal blocks; - adjust title markups. At its new index.rst, let's add a :orphan: while this is not linked to the main index.rst file, in order to avoid build warnings. 2014-03-27 | dm: add era target | Joe Thornber
dm-era is a target that behaves similar to the linear target. In addition it keeps track of which blocks were written within a user defined period of time called an 'era'. Each era target instance maintains the current era as a monotonically increasing 32-bit counter. Use cases include tracking changed blocks for backup software, and partially invalidating the contents of a cache to restore cache coherency after rolling back a vendor snapshot. dm-era is primarily expected to be paired with the dm-cache target.
